If you have completed the first Foundations: Core Skills Training and you’re currently teaching or planning to teach sex education in your schools, congregations, or communities, this training is for you:

  • Teachers and educators
  • Youth leaders, lay leaders, or clergy working with youth
  • Professionals or volunteers in youth-serving organizations

This training explores strategies that can be used to create a safe and supportive learning environment for teaching sex education, such as exploring the types of trauma and impacts of trauma; traumatic experiences common to youth; and components of a trauma-informed approach.

Registration begins at 8:30 AM and the training will start at 9:00 AM. Light snacks and coffee will be provided. We encourage you to reserve your seat in advance. This training is FREE and open to the public. CEUs are available.  CEUs are free for CHART teachers only.
