This year has brought Mississippi and our world as a whole lots of ups and downs, but we’re choosing to celebrate the wins.
Like our new certification to conduct mental health first aid trainings! The Youth Mental Health First Aid Course covers how to help adolescents experiencing mental health or addiction challenges, or who are in crisis. We also launched the interactive Choose Your Method tool to make it easier for youth to learn about birth control, STI prevention options, and how to access them. And we’ve continued to advocate to give young Mississippians the information and care they need to lead healthy lives and make informed choices.
Our mission to ensure that all young people in Mississippi have access to high-quality sex education and youth-friendly healthcare services motivates everything we do.
