Teen Health Mississippi develops and implements programs and initiatives that ensure that Mississippi teens are empowered with the essential knowledge, skills, and resources to make informed decisions about their sexual health. We work with youth-serving adults and organizations to ensure they have the capacity to address the unique sexual health needs of Mississippi teens.

Our Current Program Areas

Focus4Teens

Focused Pregnancy Prevention for Mississippi Teens (Focus4Teens) is dedicated to improving the lives of adolescents and reducing unintended teen pregnancy in the Mississippi Delta.

CHART

Creating Healthy and Responsible Teens (CHART) works with Mississippi school districts to increase adoption and implementation of abstinence-plus sex education policies and evidence-based, medically accurate, and age-appropriate programs.

K-5 Human Growth and Development Initiative

By working with districts to provide customized curriculum and training, the K-5 Human Growth and Development Initiative helps students develop decision-making skills that are crucial for everyday life.

LinkedUp

LinkedUp is different than existing evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs as the program will focus on linking older teens (ages 17-19 years) to youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services as they transition from high school to college, or whatever their next step after high school may be.
